Clarington April 20, 2020- The Municipality of Clarington has made the difficult decision to cancel its Canada Day celebration held at Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex.

Clarington April 12, 2020/- Clarington Emergency and Fire Services battled a large fire at Algoma Orchards.
The emergency call came in at 3:39 a.m. In total, around 45 firefighters responded to the fire that was confined to the apple storage bins behind the main sales facility. Five pumps, five tankers, an aerial and six support vehicles were on hand to help extinguish the fire. No one was injured during the operation.
